Der Presskorb aus Eichenholz ist pflegeleicht, während die Gusseisenteile rostbeständig sind. Eine strapazierfähige Gusseisenspindel mit Griffen sitzt oben über dem Presskorb und aufgrund des Schwerpunkts verteilt sich der Pressdruck gleichmäßig über den gesamten Boden, so dass die Ausbeute recht hoch ist.
